Rhubarb who would have known

I was just thinking of my Dads garden he has the greatest organic bug deterrent for the garden veggies and flowers alike Rhubarb what he does is use the leaves cutting them off of the stem which by the way he makes a killer Rhubarb strawberry pie with, any way he cuts the leaves places them in a large boiling pot so this is just the leaves of the Rhubarb and water boils them down lets cool and drains of the mixture of the water and leave and this my friends is his organic bug deterrent and it really works he sprays his garden and flowers with it and no tomato worms no aphids no potato bugs no bugs at all they hate the stuff.

Grow yourself a patch of Rhubarb and it grown really fast you get yourself a two for one plant great for making pies and a good bug deterrent for the gardens and after you boil the leaves down discard those in your compost pile every part of the plant is used no waste.
